Policies & Recommendations

Weather Inclement Day!

During the session, if one of the lesson days has thunder or lightning, we will call you 30 minutes prior to let you know that the lesson is cancelled. Sometimes a phone call might not be realistic since we are in the pool beforehand, so when in doubt, come anyway. Even if two lessons have to be cancelled because of thunder or lightning, we only have one makeup lesson available.

Refunds!

If your child is sick or cannot attend swimming lessons for for some reason other than inclement weather, we cannot make up the missed lesson and will not provide you with a refund. Refunds are also not available for cancellations made within four weeks of the session start date. We kindly ask that you respect this policy, as it allows us to plan and operate our programs effectively.

Scheduling!

We ask that you please schedule either the one-week or two-week sessions that work best for your family, as children succeed with consistent lessons. We try our best to accommodate all families. It is crucial that your children are present for all days of the session in order to grow and gain confidence in the water.

Goggles!

We recommend that children who are learning how to swim not rely on the use of goggles. We understand many kids prefer goggles for comfort as they get older. When beginning lessons, the little kids must learn that it is okay to get their eyes wet by going underwater, ultimately helping them gain confidence and comfort when swimming.

Lesson Guidelines!

To help your child get the most out of their lesson, we kindly ask that parents remain seated in the designated viewing area and avoid engaging with swimmers during class time. This allows instructors to maintain focus, ensure safety, and build a positive learning environment for all participants.
