ABOUT US

  • Super Strokes is a backyard run swim school specializing in lessons for children using the Swim for Life Lifesaving Society Programs. We offer Parent - tot, Preschool, Swimmers 1-6, Swim Patrol, and stroke improvement.

  • Our swim programs include private (one swimmer) and semi-private (two swimmers) formats for all ages. By focusing our attention on a smaller number of swimmers, they will learn faster and swim to the best of their abilities.

  • Our teaching method ensures that every swimmer is improving their strokes, learning water safety skills, and most importantly, enjoying themselves in the pool.

  • We make sure every swimmer is comfortable in the water and excited to come to their lessons.

  • Since every child learns differently and at their own pace, we adapt lessons in a way that ensure their personal success.

I can’t wait to see all of your smiling faces in the pool for my fifth summer at Super Strokes! I am currently going into my fourth year at Queen’s University in the Science Concurrent Education program. When I’m not in the water, I love dancing, baking, and attending yoga classes. Can’t wait to see you soon!

This is my fourth year working with Super Strokes Swim School, and I couldn’t be happier for this coming summer! I am 20 years old and will start my third year at the University of Guelph in the fall! I am majoring in sociology and minoring in marketing! Growing up, I’ve always loved sports, hanging out with friends and family, and trying new things! I am so excited for this summer, counting down the days till we’re back in the pool!!

Ever since I was young, I have always loved swimming and being in the water! This is my third summer working for Super Strokes Swim School. I am going into my first year at university this fall, and in my spare time, I love dancing, spending time with friends, and reading! I am super excited for this summer, can't wait!!! 

Owen Henderson

INSTRUCTOR

I am so excited to be back teaching swimming lessons this summer!! I have been teaching for three years, and I can't wait to help swimmers build confidence and have fun in the water. I love staying active and playing basketball! I am currently a grade 12 student at Aurora High School, and in my free time, I enjoy playing sports and spending time with friends. I'm really looking forward to this summer!
